Are there any other costs involved for the wedding coverage?
For weddings outside of Norfolk or East Anglia, there may well be travel charges and sometimes overnight accommodation is necessary. For weddings abroad, the client is responsible for organizing and ensuring payment for flights, accommodation, meals and travel expenses.

Do we need to meet before booking?
We are happy to arrange a meeting but it isn’t a requirement. Many people book after looking at the website or through personal recommendations. We think that it is important to meet and talk through your likes and dislikes and what you want from the day. It is also a chance for us to get to know one another so we’re not strangers on the day - and it does make a difference! Chances are that you won’t have been photographed so intensely before so its important that you’re at ease with your photographer. It also gives you the opportunity to see examples of the work we do and look at the options available.

We would like to book, what do we do next?
Just send us an email or call to check our availability for the date of your wedding. If this date is still available then we will send you the booking forms to complete with details of the forthcoming day. A non-refundable booking fee of £250, paid by cheque, sent with the completed forms secures the date. This is then deducted from the total price, with the balance due one month before the wedding date. We will then contact you a few days prior to the wedding day to run through the practical details of the day.

How quickly do we have to organize our print order?
We aim to keep all the images archived for a minimum of ten years, so there’s no hurry! Given the number of images in the chosen book we recommend living with them for a while before deciding which ones you would like enlarged.

Do we chose which images go into our book?
Part of the creative process is in the editing. There is no limit to the number of images we will capture. We will remove shots of people blinking and duplicates, but also tightly edit the selection to best tell the story of your special day. Should clients wish, they can first view their images on the online album and then give us feedback about these images to help us design the final book. However we find the vast majority of clients are happy to let us do the designing process so that they see their images for the first time in the presented book(s).

Can you photograph the ceremony?
Whether we are permitted to photograph the ceremony really depends upon the permission of those officiating the event. We know from experience that there can sometimes be problems with the registrars. When discussing the subject of wedding photography during the service with your registrar/vicar/priest, we would recommend emphasizing to them that our photography is discreet with no flash!

What if we have an image in our book that is in black and white and we would like it in colour?
All images including those featured on the website are shot digitally using high resolution professional cameras. This allows us to ensure that a colour alternative is always available.
